Amy Mielke currently enjoys acting for independent films, as well as creating
mixed media art, sculpture and painting. She is an advisory board member of Oil
Drum Art, and has exhibited works in juried shows and contributed to charitable
art events. Her art has been shown at the New Haven Festival of Arts & Ideas;
ArtSpace Hartford Oil Drum Art show; Canton Artist Guild 30th Anniversary Open
Juried show, New Haven Open Studio Alternative Spaces exhibit; The Show Us Your
Bra! benefit in Northampton, MA; The Palace Theatre of Waterbury; Real Art Ways;
and the 3rd Annual Open Juried Show at Artwell Gallery. Her mixed media piece,
ÔLegsÕ was recently awarded 3rd prize in the 64th Annual Connecticut Artists
Exhibition at the Slater Memorial Museum.
Amy is employed as Director of Client Services for Martino & Binzer, a
full-service marketing firm, and resides in Farmington, CT.
